Senior Resident General Surgery

Patient Care:

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the General Surgery Department.
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose surgical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures under supervision and progressively gain independence.

Clinical Rounds:

• Participate in daily clinical rounds, presenting cases, and collaborating with the medical team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.

Surgical Procedures:

• Assist and perform various surgical procedures under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a range of general surgical techniques.

Teaching and Training:

• Supervise and guide junior residents, interns, and medical students.
• Contribute to educational activities, including case discussions, seminars, and journal clubs.

Research and Publications:

• Engage in clinical research and contribute to ongoing research projects in the department.
• Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Continuing Medical Education (CME):

• Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and CME programs to stay updated on advancements in General Surgery.
• Share acquired knowledge with the medical team.
