Description
- Assist in providing anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including patient history, physical examination, and risk assessment, to determine suitable anesthesia plans.
- Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery, adjusting medications and interventions as needed.
- Manage post-anesthesia care, including recovery monitoring, pain management, and addressing any complications that may arise.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive perioperative care.
- Participate in critical care management, including airway management, ventilator support, and emergency resuscitation.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures, medications administered, and patient progress.
- Teach and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students in anesthesia practices and critical care.
