Description

Preoperative Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients before surgeries or procedures, reviewing medical histories, conducting physical exams, and determining the appropriate anesthesia plan based on the patient's condition.
Administration of Anesthesia: Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia to patients before surgical procedures, ensuring the proper dosage and monitoring the patient’s response throughout the process.
Monitoring During Surgery: Continuously monitor the patient’s vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.) during the surgery, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary to ensure patient safety.
Pain Management: Provide pain relief through anesthesia or sedation for various medical procedures and surgeries, and manage postoperative pain for patients in recovery.
Airway Management: Perform endotracheal intubation and other airway management procedures to ensure patients receive adequate oxygen during surgery.
Collaboration with Surgical Teams: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure that patients are stable throughout the operation.
Postoperative Care: Monitor patients in the recovery room after surgery, ensuring they regain consciousness safely and addressing any complications or side effects from anesthesia.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed and accurate records of anesthesia administration, patient monitoring, and any complications, following hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
