Senior Registrar-Anesthesia

Preoperative Assessment:

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to evaluate patients' medical history, current health status, and anesthesia risks.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans.

Anesthesia Administration:

• Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local, based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
• Calculate and administer anesthetic doses and monitor patients' responses.
• Ensure patient comfort and pain management during and after procedures.

Patient Monitoring:

• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during surgery.
• Adjust anesthesia levels as needed and respond promptly to any changes in patients' conditions.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety.

Emergencies and Crisis Management:

• Respond to medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest or allergic reactions, during surgical procedures.
• Implement appropriate resuscitative measures and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Maintain proficiency in advanced life support techniques.

Postoperative Care:

• Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) during the recovery phase.
• Assess and manage pain and other postoperative complications.
