Description

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver diseases, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal cancers.
  • Perform and interpret complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as endoscopy (upper and lower), ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), liver biopsy, and percutaneous gastrostomy.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on clinical findings, guidelines, and patient preferences.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, fellows, residents, nurses, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to junior medical staff, residents, and medical students.
  • Collaborate effectively with other medical specialties, including surgery, oncology, radiology, and nutrition, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Actively participate in clinical research studies, contribute to research publications, and present findings at national and international conferences.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuous medical education (CME), workshops, and conferences.
