Description
- Administer anaesthesia for surgical procedures across various specialties, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during surgical procedures.
- Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications effectively, ensuring timely interventions and patient stabilization.
- Manage and oversee the care of critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Provide advanced life support measures including airway management, ventilation, and resuscitation.
- Monitor and interpret multisystem parameters (hemodynamic, respiratory, neurological) to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform critical care procedures such as central venous catheterization, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion.
- Manage ventilator settings and respiratory support for ICU patients.
- Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols and interventions as required.
- Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the ICU, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
