Description
- Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery of products.
- Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules to meet business and customer demands.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff to ensure adherence to operational guidelines and performance standards.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to production teams, ensuring clear communication of objectives and expectations.
- Foster a collaborative working environment by coordinating with other departments, such as quality control, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless production flow.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across the production floor.
- Collaborate with the production management team to introduce Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor production data to identify trends and areas for process optimization, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
