Description

Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalances, and disorders of mineral metabolism.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient needs.
Oversee and manage dialysis services, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), as applicable.
Monitor dialysis treatment outcomes, optimize dialysis prescriptions, and ensure adherence to quality standards and infection control protocols.
Evaluate and assess candidates for kidney transplantation, including pre-transplant workup, assessment of transplant eligibility, and coordination of transplant referral and evaluation.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nephrology fellows, residents, and medical staff in the nephrology department.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement through mentorship, education, and quality assurance activities.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and research projects aimed at enhancing nephrology care delivery, patient outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
Participate in clinical audits, outcome analyses, and interdisciplinary collaborations to optimize nephrology services and advance clinical knowledge.
