Description

Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, perform gastrointestinal examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions.
Perform a wide range of advanced endoscopic procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
Utilize advanced endoscopic techniques and technologies for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as polypectomy, mucosal biopsy, stent placement, and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR).
Manage patients with liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and cirrhosis, coordinating care with hepatologists and liver transplant teams as needed.
Perform liver biopsy procedures, interpret histopathological findings, and provide comprehensive management strategies for patients with liver conditions.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to gastroenterologists, fellows, residents, nurses, and support staff in the gastroenterology department.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement through mentorship, education, and quality assurance activities.
