Description

Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations of patients presenting with dermatologic concerns, including skin rashes, lesions, growths, and other abnormalities.
Assess patients' skin conditions, identify underlying dermatologic disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based guidelines.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including skin biopsies, skin scrapings, patch testing, and Wood's lamp examinations, to confirm diagnoses, differentiate between dermatologic conditions, and guide treatment decisions.
Interpret histopathological findings and laboratory test results to inform treatment planning and monitor disease progression or response to therapy.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, bacterial infections, viral infections, and autoimmune diseases of the skin.
Prescribe topical and systemic medications, including corticosteroids, antibiotics, antifungals, immunomodulators, and biologic agents, to treat dermatologic disorders and alleviate symptoms.
Perform surgical procedures for the removal of skin lesions, cysts, tumors, and other growths, including excisional biopsies, shave biopsies, punch biopsies, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cryotherapy.
Provide postoperative care, wound management, and scar revision techniques to optimize cosmetic outcomes and promote healing after dermatologic surgery.
