Description

Diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders requiring surgical intervention, including brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, and neurological trauma.
Perform complex surgical procedures such as craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and nerve decompression to address neurological conditions.
Collaborate with other medical specialists to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex neurological conditions.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, ensuring optimal recovery and minimal complications.
Evaluate diagnostic tests, such as MRI scans, CT scans, and EEGs, to determine the need for surgical intervention.
Counsel patients and their families on the risks, benefits, and expected outcomes of surgery and other treatment options.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurosurgery, including surgical techniques, technologies, and research developments.
Mentor and train junior surgeons, residents, and fellows in neurosurgical techniques and patient management.
Lead the development and implementation of best practices, protocols, and clinical guidelines within the neurosurgery department.
