Description

Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring safety and proper sedation levels.
Conduct pre-operative assessments, including reviewing patient medical history, allergies, and previous anesthesia experiences.
Select and administer appropriate anesthetic agents, adjusting dosages based on individual patient requirements.
Monitor patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during surgery and recovery.
Manage post-operative recovery, ensuring patients regain consciousness safely and without complications.
Provide pain management for patients in both surgical and non-surgical settings.
Work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal care and the successful outcome of procedures.
Supervise anesthesia protocols, equipment, and medication safety to minimize risks during anesthesia administration.
Stay current on advances in anesthesia techniques, medications, and patient care protocols.
Educate medical staff, residents, and students on anesthesia practices, procedures, and safety standards.
