Description
- Conduct rapid and thorough assessments of patients presenting to the ED.
- Initiate and implement appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and response to interventions.
- Provide advanced life support interventions, including airway management, cardiac monitoring, and resuscitation as needed.
- Perform and assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and trauma resuscitation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing a wide range of medical emergencies, trauma cases, and acute illnesses.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines to deliver high-quality emergency care.
- Work collaboratively with ED physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds, case discussions, and patient handovers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
