Description

  • Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments for patients, procedures, tests, and consultations, coordinating availability with physicians and other staff members.
  • Assist patients with registration, insurance verification, and completion of necessary paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) and patient files, entering demographic and clinical information, updating records as needed, and ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Transcribe medical dictations, correspondence, and reports accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments, conveying messages, relaying test results, and facilitating referrals and follow-up care.
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiology procedures, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and availability of necessary materials.
  • Assist with billing and coding processes, verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and reconciling patient accounts as needed.
  • Assist cardiologists and other staff members with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating departmental activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and support for fellow team members.
