Scientist - Biotechnology

The Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC) is managed under Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat. The applications are invited for 9 different posts of Scientist- B (Group-I) positions are to be filled in various specialization of biotechnology and vacancy distribution for the same is produced in the table below;

• Animal Biotechnology - 2 posts
• Plant Biotechnology - 2 posts
• Computational Biotechnology / Bioinformatics - 1 post
• Marine Biotechnology - 1 post
• Medical Biotechnology / Healthcare - 1 post
• Environmental Biotechnology - 1 post
• Industrial Biotechnology - 1 post

Age Limit: not be more than 40 years of age

Language: Candidate should have adequate knowledge in Gujarati or Hindi or both

Pay Scale: INR 56,100 - 1,77,500 (Level-10) (As per 7th Pay Commission) per month

Education:

• Ph.D in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Veterinary Science/ Pharmacy in any subject mentioned in the guideline.
• Master’s degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology / Veterinary Science/ Pharmacy
