- The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
- The Sales Executive will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a thorough understanding of company products and services.
- Client Acquisition: Actively seeking and acquiring new clients for the freight forwarding Business.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Research: Staying updated about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities.
- Quoting and Negotiation: Providing clients with accurate and competitive freight quotes, and negotiating terms to secure best business deals.
- Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth execution of services.
- Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company.
- Customer Education: Educating clients on various shipping options, routes, and services offered by the freight forwarding company.
- Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns raised by clients, working closely with internal teams to find solutions.
- Reporting: Providing regular sales reports and updates to management on sales performance and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven sales experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience in dealing with customers at all levels.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Awareness of market trends and competition.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel.
