Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to address safety concerns, develop corrective actions, and implement safety improvements.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Provide new employee orientation on safety policies, procedures, and practices to ensure understanding and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Keep abreast of changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and incorporate relevant updates into safety training programs.
  • Respond to and investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and contributing factors.
  • Prepare incident reports documenting findings, corrective actions, and recommendations for preventing recurrence.
  • Work with management and employees to implement corrective actions and improve safety practices based on incident investigations.
