Description

Develop, implement, and evaluate safety policies, procedures, and programs to minimize occupational hazards and promote a safe working environment.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety plans and initiatives that address specific risks and concerns.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing occupational health and safety, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
Stay abreast of changes in safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices, and incorporate them into organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting to demonstrate compliance and facilitate audits or inspections as required.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, including new hire orientation, job-specific training, and refresher courses.
Promote awareness of safety policies, procedures, and practices through various communication channels, such as meetings, newsletters, and posters.
Provide coaching and support to supervisors and employees on safety-related issues and initiatives.
