Description
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, evaluating safety risks, and implementing control measures to mitigate them.
- Safety Protocols: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Safety Training: Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees, including instructions on emergency procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe work practices.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses, identifying the root cause and developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and standards by conducting routine audits and inspections.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid response, ensuring employees are trained and prepared.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports related to safety audits, incidents, inspections, and compliance, providing detailed documentation for internal and regulatory purposes.
