Description

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients admitted to the hospital, recording medical history, performing physical exams, and creating initial treatment plans.
  • Document clinical findings, assessments, and plans accurately in patient records.
  • Order and interpret necessary investigations, such as laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic procedures, and act on results under guidance from senior medical staff.
  • Provide day-to-day management of patients across various hospital units, adjusting treatment plans as needed in collaboration with senior medical officers.
  • Conduct regular patient reviews, monitoring progress and promptly identifying any signs of deterioration or complications.
  • Communicate with patients and their families about their care, addressing concerns, and explaining treatments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform initial stabilization and management, calling for senior assistance as needed.
  • Participate in code blue responses and other critical situations, assisting in resuscitation and emergency procedures.
  • Work closely with the emergency department team to manage acute admissions and support trauma care, if required.
