Description

Evaluate and diagnose patients with symptoms of rheumatic diseases, such as joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and fatigue.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds), and joint fluid analysis.
Establish accurate diagnoses for complex rheumatic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, and gout.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific conditions and health needs.
Prescribe and manage medications, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologics, and corticosteroids.
Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Provide ongoing care and follow-up for patients with chronic rheumatic conditions, managing symptoms and preventing disease progression.
Conduct regular assessments of disease activity and functional status to guide treatment decisions.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to improve adherence and outcomes.
