Description

Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients to gather medical histories and identify presenting medical issues.
Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and interpret diagnostic test results.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Perform medical procedures within the scope of practice, such as wound care, suturing, and assisting in minor surgeries.
Prescribe medications and provide appropriate instructions, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Handle emergency situations, providing immediate and appropriate medical care in urgent or critical situations.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
Document patient information, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
