Description

  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients admitted to the hospital, including conducting medical assessments, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing appropriate treatments.
  • Conduct regular ward rounds to assess patients' conditions, monitor progress, and address any medical concerns or complications.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital, including Code Blue situations, trauma cases, and other urgent medical conditions, providing immediate medical intervention and stabilizing patients as necessary.
  • Assist in the admission and discharge of patients, including completing admission assessments, obtaining medical histories, and coordinating discharge plans with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Perform clinical procedures as required, such as venipuncture, intravenous cannulation, wound management, and nasogastric tube insertion, ensuring adherence to best practices and infection control protocols.
  • Write and review medical orders, prescriptions, and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of senior medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, including progress notes, medication charts, and procedural documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
