Job Description
- Provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients (IPD).
- Handle emergency and casualty cases efficiently.
- Conduct daily patient rounds and monitor clinical progress.
- Assist consultants during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Stabilize patients during medical emergencies.
- Prescribe and administer medications as per hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
- Prepare admission notes, discharge summaries, and referral notes.
- Manage medico-legal cases (MLC) as per guidelines.
- Attend codes, CPR, and emergency calls.
- Communicate patient condition updates to consultants and relatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and ethical standards.
