Description

Provide medical care to patients admitted to the hospital under the supervision of senior medical staff.
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Perform medical procedures, such as venipuncture, wound care, and insertion of intravenous lines, as needed to support patient care.
Monitor patients' medical progress, review laboratory and imaging results, and adjust treatment plans accordingly in consultation with attending physicians.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical intervention and life-saving measures as required.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about their medical conditions, treatment options, and prognosis in a clear and empathetic manner.
Document patient encounters, medical histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
