Description
- Their day-to-day roles include conducting and leading yoga classes, assessing progress, demonstrating required techniques, assisting during their practice, etc.
- Provide medical care to patients in outpatient clinics, emergency departments, and inpatient wards, under the supervision and guidance of attending physicians and senior medical staff.
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and interpretation of laboratory and imaging results.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols and evidence-based guidelines, ensuring patient safety, efficacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, response to treatment, and clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
- Perform medical procedures and interventions as necessary, such as venipuncture, wound care, intravenous therapy, urinary catheterization, and nasogastric tube insertion, following established protocols and infection control practices.
- Provide medical consultations and assistance to nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team, offering clinical guidance, education, and support as needed.
