Description

  • Conduct initial assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations on patients admitted to the hospital.
  • Diagnose common medical conditions and manage treatment plans as per established protocols and consultant guidance.
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as intravenous line insertions, wound care, catheterizations, and other non-invasive procedures.
  • Report and refer cases to senior medical officers or consultants when necessary for further evaluation and management.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds, discuss patient progress with the medical team, and implement the treatment decisions of consultants.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including history, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Respond to medical emergencies within the hospital, provide immediate treatment, and liaise with senior doctors when required.
  • Provide basic counseling to patients and families regarding lifestyle, medication adherence, and follow-up care.
