Description

  • Conduct initial assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations of patients presenting to the healthcare facility.
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses, prescribing medications, treatments, and referrals as appropriate.
  • Monitor patients' progress, response to treatment, and vital signs, adjusting care plans and interventions as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critical incidents within the healthcare facility, providing urgent medical interventions and stabilizing patients' conditions.
  • Perform resuscitation procedures, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and other life-saving interventions in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and patient charts, including history, examination findings, diagnostic tests, treatments, and follow-up plans.
  • Document patient encounters, procedures performed, medications prescribed, and instructions given in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, allied health professionals, and support staff, to coordinate patient care, interdisciplinary rounds, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, consulting physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols.
