Description
- Ensuring the highest standards in patient care are maintained
- Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Reporting to senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and medical staff
- Ensuring consistent and accurate medical recordkeeping practices
- Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of senior medical staff, including conducting medical assessments, performing physical examinations, and formulating differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Assist in medical procedures and interventions as directed by supervising physicians, including venipuncture, intravenous cannulation, wound care, urinary catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion, and basic suturing, following hospital protocols and standards.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients, following basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols as needed.
