Description

Conduct thorough medical assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic investigations, to evaluate patients' medical conditions and formulate treatment plans.
Provide medical treatment and management for patients under your care, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and coordinating referrals to specialists as needed.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical intervention and resuscitation, including initiating life-saving measures and stabilizing patients until further assessment by senior medical staff.
Monitor patients' clinical progress and response to treatment, conducting regular rounds, reviewing laboratory results, and adjusting treatment regimens as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and clinical notes in electronic health records (EHR) or medical charts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with attending physicians, consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care, discuss treatment plans, and ensure interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.
Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, providing information, guidance, and support to promote patient understanding and compliance.
