Resident Medical Officer

Clinical Care:

• Provide primary medical care to patients admitted to the hospital, including initial assessments, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions.

Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective interventions.

Patient Monitoring:

• Monitor and review the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and collaborating with specialists for comprehensive patient care.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for patients, documenting clinical observations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with hospital protocols.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including consulting physicians and surgeons, to discuss and coordinate patient care and treatment plans.

Patient and Family Communication:

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining medical conditions, treatment options, and providing support and education as needed.

Shift Handover:

• Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of patient status, treatment plans, and any relevant information to the incoming medical team.
