Description

Responding to patients’ medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral, where necessary.
To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other RMO to provide a 24 hour service to the hospital.
Basic Computer knowledge , Handling Cytotoxic drugs, Good Communication skills, Willing to do night duties
Supervise Casualty operations and attends to emergencies to give medical aid in Casualty .
To deal with all Medical Emergencies of Patients, and contact the treating Consultant over phone and arrange for immediate treatment.
Initial assessment and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department for care.
Ensure that patients receive adequate and appropriate assessment and emergency medical care, either directly or through supervision
To undertake a morning and evening ward round daily and if possible with a member of the nursing staff when available ensuring patients are visited where appropriate. To make an entry in the patient’s notes as appropriate following ward rounds or any other patient examinations, communication or procedures.
Use teamwork and effective communication to deliver effective health care that includes patients and family members as appropriate as members of the team.
