Description

Provide immediate medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions, injuries, and trauma.
Conduct thorough medical assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to determine treatment plans.
Perform emergency procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, wound care, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
Interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, and laboratory tests, to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication administration, pain management, and coordination of surgical or specialist consultations as necessary.
Work closely with nurses, paramedics, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and informed decision-making throughout the emergency department experience.
Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and healthcare staff on emergency medicine principles, procedures, and protocols.
