- Analytical Method Development: Research Associates in Analytical Development are responsible for developing and validating analytical methods used to assess the quality and characteristics of pharmaceutical or chemical products. This involves designing experiments, selecting appropriate analytical techniques, and optimizing methods for accuracy and precision.
- Instrumentation Operation: They operate and maintain analytical instruments, such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Mass Spectrometry, and other laboratory equipment. Research Associates ensure that instruments are calibrated and function properly to generate reliable analytical data.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyzing and interpreting analytical data is a key aspect of the role. Research Associates evaluate results, troubleshoot any issues, and work on continuous improvement of methods.
