Description

Provide direct patient care services in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, including routine prenatal care, labour management, delivery assistance, postpartum care, gynecologically examinations, and family planning services.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of obstetric and gynaecological patients, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform obstetric and gynaecological procedures and surgeries, such as caesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies, with precision and adherence to standard protocols.
Monitor and manage labor progress, fetal well-being, and maternal health during labour and delivery, providing appropriate interventions and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.
Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, midwives, nurses, anaesthesiologists, neonatologists, and paediatricians, to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient education and counseling on obstetric and gynaecological conditions, treatment options, preventive care, contraception, and postpartum care, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and patient rounds to discuss patient care plans, review treatment outcomes, and collaborate on complex cases.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documentation, and clinical notes in accordance with departmental policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines.
