Description

Assist in the evaluation and management of obstetric and gynaecological patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
Assist in the planning and implementation of treatment plans for obstetric and gynaecological conditions, under the supervision of senior medical staff.
Participate in the delivery of obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, as well as management of obstetric emergencies.
Assist in surgical procedures, such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other gynaecological surgeries, under the guidance of attending physicians.
Provide counselling and education to patients and their families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, contraceptive options, and women's health issues.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the department.
