Description

Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of patients presenting with various medical conditions, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic medical illnesses, in collaboration with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Perform procedures commonly performed in internal medicine, such as venipuncture, lumbar puncture, and arterial blood gas sampling, as required.
Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting management plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure patient safety.
Provide continuity of care for patients admitted to the hospital, conducting daily rounds, coordinating consultations, and facilitating transitions of care.
Participate in outpatient clinic sessions to provide follow-up care for patients with chronic medical conditions, manage medication regimens, and address preventive healthcare needs.
Assist in the management of medical emergencies, including resuscitation efforts, stabilization of critically ill patients, and coordination of transfer to higher levels of care, as appropriate.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and strategies for promoting health and wellness.
