Description

Clinical Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the cardiology team.
  • Monitor and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.

Patient Management:

  • Oversee the care and treatment of cardiology patients admitted to the hospital.
  • Attend to inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  • Collaborate with imaging and laboratory departments for accurate diagnostic evaluations.

Emergency Response:

  • Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response teams as needed.
  • Coordinate with emergency services for transfers and interventions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and nurses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Attend departmental meetings and case conferences.
