<ul><li>To take over the assigned patients from the earlier shift staff nurses with relevant details&nbsp; of the patient.</li><li>To give mouthcare and back care 4 hourly when patient is on ventilator.</li><li>To collect samples of blood sugar, PCV electrolytes, Blood gas from arterial line.</li><li>To keep the articles ready to assist the doctor for extubation, dressing, and procedures.</li><li>To inform doctors and superiors immediately in the case of any deviation from acceptable parameters are observed in the patient.</li><li>To take assistance from seniors whenever there is difficulty in understanding a problem.</li><li>To prepare water seal drainage bottles.</li><li>To prepare post-operative bed to receive post-operative patients.</li><li>To ensure the needed equipment’s are in working condition before receiving the patient.</li><li>To collect lab reports and inform doctors.</li><li>To be a communicator between the patient and relatives.</li><li>To give medication to patient.</li><li>To feed the patient as per the diet.</li></ul>
