Description

  • A Receptionist will greet patients, respond to requests for information and offer proper guidance.
  • Register new patients by gathering, verifying and entering in personal, demographic and insurance information and will update details of existing patients.
  • Collect consultation fee, investigation fee, and all corporate fees for the outpatient department and raise bills for the same.
  • Responsible for refund & cancellation of receipts & maintenance of receipts.
  • Balance cash at the end of each day and hand over the same to accounts.
  • Verify upcoming appointments and schedule new appointments through Acuity. 
  • Handle telephone receptionist responsibilities as needed.
  • Attend to all calls and guide the callers.
  • Transfer calls to concerned departments.
  • Take down information/ messages, schedule appointments and communicate the same to the concerned person.
  • Connect outgoing calls
  • Learning & get training about the work flow of NNCC
  • Keeping the reception area tidy.
  • Duties & Responsibilities in the OPD:
  • A Receptionist will greet patients, respond to requests for information and offer proper guidance.
  • Check patient file for suggested tests or doctor’s consultation and guide accordingly
  • Co-ordinate with concerned doctor/department to ensure proper patient care.
  • Maintain necessary records and data.
  • Verify upcoming appointments and schedule new appointments. 
  • Attend to telephone and take down information/ messages, schedule appointments and communicate the same to the concerned person.
  • Responsible for any job assigned to him/her from time to time by the management.
