Material Research: Conduct research to identify and evaluate new packing materials and technologies. Assess their suitability for various products based on factors such as durability, cost, and environmental impact.
Development & Testing: Develop and test new packaging prototypes and materials. Perform rigorous testing to ensure they meet performance standards, including protection, shelf life, and compliance with industry regulations.
Design Collaboration: Collaborate with product development and design teams to understand packaging requirements and design solutions that align with product specifications and market needs.
Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to source and evaluate packaging materials. Ensure that materials meet quality standards and are cost-effective.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all packaging materials and designs comply with relevant regulations, including food safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of research, development activities, and testing results. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
