Description

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans on patients as prescribed by physicians.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Position patients correctly and operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images of the targeted area.
Adjust imaging parameters as needed to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials and hazardous substances.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, identify abnormalities, and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and radiation exposure levels in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
