Radiology Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and Mammography procedures as per prescribed protocols.
• Set up, position, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during procedures.
• Maintain accurate radiology records and documentation.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure proper functioning.
• Carry out all quantity and quality control procedures as per regulatory and departmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with AERB guidelines and other applicable healthcare regulations.
• Assist the Consultant Radiologist during USG procedures and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards within the department.

Skills Required

• Strong technical knowledge of radiographic procedures.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Understanding of quality control and compliance standards.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented clinical environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Radiology / Diploma in Radiography (DMRT or equivalent).
• Valid registration as per Maharashtra state norms (if applicable).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in X-ray & Mammography (preferred).
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
