Description

Comprehensive understanding of radiology principles, imaging modalities, and diagnostic techniques, including X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear medicine.
Proficiency in interpreting radiological images accurately and identifying abnormalities, lesions, and pathologies.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to radiological interpretation across various body systems and medical conditions.
Ability to correlate imaging findings with clinical history, physical examination findings, laboratory results, and patient symptoms to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Expertise in recognizing patterns, variants, and nuances in radiological images to differentiate between normal anatomical structures and pathological abnormalities.
Capacity to make timely and informed clinical decisions based on radiological findings, patient presentation, and medical history, while considering differential diagnoses and treatment implications.
Ability to prioritize urgent or critical cases, communicate findings promptly to referring physicians, and recommend appropriate follow-up imaging or interventions as needed.
