Description

Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms, to diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including surgeons, oncologists, and physicians, to provide accurate imaging results and assist in treatment planning.
Perform specialized imaging procedures, such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and interventional radiology techniques, as required.
Ensure high-quality imaging through proper use and maintenance of imaging equipment, as well as accurate patient positioning during scans.
Communicate findings effectively to physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers, providing clear and actionable reports.
Monitor patient progress and follow up on imaging results to assess the success of treatments or track disease progression.
Advise on and implement imaging protocols and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and advancements in the field of radiology.
Provide guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other healthcare staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
