• Interpret and report on medical images including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.
• Ensure accurate and timely diagnosis by analyzing imaging results and correlating them with clinical information.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide pre- and post-imaging care instructions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Perform image-guided interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and minimally invasive treatments.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to determine the best course of action for interventional treatments.
• Work closely with referring physicians to provide consultative input on imaging studies and help develop treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and imaging findings.
