Description

Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, mammograms, nuclear medicine studies, and interventional radiology procedures, to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions accurately.
Provide timely and accurate radiological reports, incorporating relevant clinical information, differential diagnoses, and recommendations for further evaluation or treatment, and communicate findings with referring physicians and healthcare providers.
Perform image-guided interventional procedures, such as biopsies, aspirations, drainages, and minimally invasive therapies, using ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Supervise and mentor radiology residents, fellows, technologists, and support staff, providing guidance, instruction, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance and patient care delivery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care, discuss treatment options, and ensure integrated and comprehensive patient management.
Participate in radiology quality improvement initiatives, patient safety protocols, and risk management strategies to enhance the quality, safety, and effectiveness of radiological services and optimize patient outcomes.
Engage in radiology research, scholarly activities, and academic pursuits, including participation in clinical trials, publication of scientific papers, presentations at conferences, and medical education and training.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards of practice, and radiation safety protocols in radiology, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and appropriate use of imaging modalities.
