Description

Interpret a wide range of medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine studies, and mammography, to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.
Provide timely and accurate radiology reports to referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, communicating imaging findings and recommendations effectively.
Correlate imaging findings with clinical history, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic studies to provide clinically relevant interpretations and guide patient management decisions.
Supervise and train radiology residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in radiology interpretation and procedures as needed.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, tumour boards, and clinical conferences to discuss complex cases, treatment planning, and patient care coordination.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure patient safety and accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
Stay informed about advances in radiology technology, techniques, and guidelines through continuing medical education (CME) activities, conferences, and research.
Collaborate with radiologic technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient performance of imaging studies and patient care.
