Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) aligned with NABH accreditation standards, policies, and guidelines to achieve and maintain accreditation goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance with NABH standards, develop corrective action plans, and implement strategies to address deficiencies and improve quality of care.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and educational programs for staff members to raise awareness, build capacity, and foster a culture of quality and patient safety in accordance with NABH requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads, administrators, and quality assurance teams to promote interdisciplinary teamwork, communication, and coordination in implementing NABH standards and achieving accreditation objectives.
- Lead internal audits, mock surveys, and periodic assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare healthcare facilities for NABH accreditation surveys and inspections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of NABH-related activities, including accreditation applications, self-assessment reports, audit findings, and quality improvement projects, to demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards.
- Serve as a liaison between the healthcare organization and NABH authorities, accreditation bodies, and regulatory agencies, ensuring timely submission of accreditation documentation, responding to queries, and facilitating accreditation surveys and inspections.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices related to quality management, patient safety, and healthcare quality improvement, and provide guidance and recommendations for compliance.
