Description

  • Conduct visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
  • Use precision tools, instruments, and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to perform accurate measurements and verify compliance with specifications.
  • Record inspection and test results accurately in quality control records, inspection reports, or electronic systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection logs, test data, and quality documentation.
  • Document non-conformities, deviations, and quality issues identified during inspections and testing, and escalate them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation of quality reports, trend analyses, and performance metrics to monitor and track quality trends over time.
  • Calibrate, verify, and maintain inspection equipment and measurement tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
  • Identify equipment issues or malfunctions and report them to the appropriate maintenance or engineering personnel for resolution.
